Evaporative

Evaporative Cooler
In an evaporative cooling system, hot outside air is forced through wet cooling pads by means of a motor-driven fan.
The cooling pads are moistened continuously by a water pump that delivers water to the cooling pads.
The cooled down air is then blown into the building. The outcoming air can then be cooled down between 60 and 90 % of the wet-bulb depending on the effectiveness of the evaporative media.
The outcoming air is cooled down 10 to 15 °C but contains a high amount of humidity. Therefore direct evaporative cooling is not recommended for cooling in work and living environments.
