Dx Unit

Arooftop packaged DX unit is also known as a unitary single-packaged air conditioner.
This unit is a self-contained DX air conditioner, typically installed on the roof of a building using ducts to distribute cool air to the conditioned space.
It can be used in single-zone or multiple-zone applications, and can also be equipped with a constant-volume or variable-volume fan.
These units are often combined, within the same assembly, with a central furnace, hydronic coils, or steam coils.
Depending on the cooling capacity and climate, rooftop packaged DX units may often be equipped with an air economizer.
